Packing smartly will help you stay comfortable and fully enjoy your safari experience. Below is a practical guide for East African safaris in Kenya and Tanzania.
  • Lightweight, breathable clothing in neutral colours (khaki, beige, olive)
  • Long-sleeved shirts and trousers (for sun and insect protection)
  • Comfortable shorts for daytime
  • Warm layer (fleece or light jacket) for early mornings and evenings
  • Lightweight rain jacket (especially March–May & November)
  • Sleepwear
  • Swimsuit (most lodges have pools)
