There are 3 main trekking routes to explore Mount Kenya:
Naro Moru Route (Fastest & Popular)
✔️ Shortest route (3-4 days) – Best for hikers with limited time.
✔️ Steep "Vertical Bog" section – Challenging but rewarding!
✔️ Best for reaching Point Lenana (4,985m).
Sirimon Route (Scenic & Gradual Ascent)
✔️ Longest but most gradual route (5-6 days) – Best for acclimatization.
✔️ Breathtaking views of valleys, lakes & forests.
✔️ Less crowded & more wildlife sightings.
Chogoria Route (Most Beautiful Route)
✔️ Best for scenic views – Passes through Lake Ellis & Lake Michaelson.
✔️ Great for photographers & those wanting a remote experience.
✔️ More challenging & takes longer (5-6 days).

How to Get There
🚗 By Road:
From Nairobi: ~4-hour drive (175 km) via Nanyuki or Naro Moru.
Closest Towns: Nanyuki, Meru & Chogoria (good for accommodations).
✈️ By Air:
Fly to Nanyuki Airstrip, then drive to the park
Best Time to Visit
January – March & June – October: Best weather for hiking.
April – May & November: Rainy season, but great for photography & wildlife.
