Day 1: Nairobi-Tsavo West National Park

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel, Drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. The 285 km, 5hour 45minutes drive on smooth tarmac shall have refreshment stops. Enter the scenic Tsavo west National park and start game viewing drives, later drive to the lodge/camp for lunch and relax. In the late afternoon you shall visit the Rhino Sanctuary and include some more game viewing drives. Later drive back to the lodge or camp for dinner overnight.

Day 2 : Tsavo West-Amboseli National Park

Sunrise finds us ready and out for our morning game viewing drive! After breakfast. Tour shall visit the Mzima Springs, a crystal-clear water source marveling at the hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish, resident and migratory bird species. Later proceed further south to the Amboseli National Park. The 2hours-30minutes journey on gravel tracks takes us to the Amboseli national park.

We shall relax and bid our time for the afternoon game drive when we go out in search of wildlife. The afternoon game viewing drive at Amboseli national park is detailed. The park is relatively small and sparse of vegetation. Animal spotting is easy and rapid when lucky.The Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty may shear off the clouds and the snow -capped peaks may gleam in the afternoon African sun. Africa in all its splendor shall be smiling at us.

It is an awesome sight to experience when weather permits. This is a photographer’s moment for those magical African memories. Dinner overnight at your camp or lodge.

Day 3 : Full Day Exploring Amboseli

After breakfast at the camp, leave the camp/lodge for more game viewing, till lunch, Afternoon game drives will be scheduled till 1700hrs.later drive back to the lodge /camp for dinner overnight. You will have seen the Jumbo elephants of Amboseli among other great animals.

Day 4 : Amboseli-Lake Naivasha

Early breakfast ,then proceed for the final morning game drive as you exit the Amboseli park to lake Naivasha, on the way you will enjoy a beautiful scenery of great Rift valley, check inn and enjoy your lunch, Afternoon boat ride viewing exotic Birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of his freshwater Rift valley lake. Overnight at the lodge or camp of your choice.

Day 5 :Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru

The day starts with a nature cum bird walk in scenic settings at the lake shores. Take a bicycle and cycle to the nearby hells gate national park where you explore on foot this canyon as you sport small game. Later a short one-hour drive takes you to the Lake Nakuru National park. Overnight at the lodge or Camp of choice your.

Day 6 : Lake Nakuru-Samburu National Reserve

Wake up to an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Flamingos and other water birds that thrive in a salt-water environment can be seen. With luck you may track the white rhino and the Rothschild’s giraffe which both have endangered species status.

The park is 188 km and is home to cats (both lion and leopard), various antelopes, and grazers like warthog, waterbuck and Cape buffalo that breed near the shoreline. Afterword’s, depart Nakuru for Samburu via the Thompson falls, which are named after Joseph Thompson, one of the first European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880’s. Lunch will be at Nanyuki, which is at the foothills of Mt. Kenya. Arrive Samburu in the evening, with a game drive en-route the campsite where you shall have your dinner and overnight.

Day 7 : Full Samburu National Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu with a lunch and leisure break in the midafternoon. The reserve is home to rare drought resistant animals that are peculiar to the semi-arid region north of the equator. These include the reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s zebra, the Beisa Oryx, gerenuk and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich. Samburu is dry most of the year but is watered by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which rises in the Aberdare’ s and drains in the Lorian swamp north of Shaba National Reserve. All meals and overnight at the campsite.

Day 8: Samburu-Nairobi

After breakfast proceed for the last game drive as you exit Samburu park and drive to Nairobi with Lunch on the way arriving later in the afternoon. This itinerary is also available in reverse order.
