Day 1: Beach Hotel-Tsavo East National Park

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner.

We’ll be up early for a busy safari day, traveling along the Mombasa Nairobi Road.

We’ll arrive at Tsavo East mid-morning, with plenty of time for a game drive before lunch. On these broad plains, we’ll be looking for some of the largest elephant herds in Kenya. Don’t be surprised if these enormous creatures are reddish in color. That’s from rolling in the red-dust soil of the park.

You’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch and learn the finer points of game watching from your expert driver/guide. Any questions or concerns during your safari – just ask your guide. He’s always happy to help.

In the afternoon, as the park cools down and the animals emerge from their resting spots, looking to feed and drink, we’ll head out on another game drive. Look for antelope, zebra, and giraffe and of course, the big cats.

We’ll spend the night in Tsavo East at the safari lodge or tented camp of your choice. What you may see at Tsavo East National Park.

Vast herds of dust-red elephants, Buffalo, Lion, cheetah, Hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Giraffe and more.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park-Beach Hotel

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch.

There’s nothing like rising at the crack of dawn to witness the animals emerging into the day. We like to call this the beautiful and inspiring moment, especially as the African sunrise lights up the plains.

We’ll try to get in some big game sightings before heading back for a rewarding breakfast. After a little relaxing, we’ll check out of our accommodations, but the game viewing isn’t over yet!

We’ll head out to Tsavo’s watering holes at Mudanda Rock and the Aruba Dam. The waters are a natural draw for antelope, impala, waterbuck, elephant, and many others.

We’ll head back to the Kenya coast with stories of our sightings and memories to last until our next safari adventure. You should arrive at your hotel or resort at about 17:00 hrs.

We hope you had fun on your beach to safari journey. Thanks for joining us, and please keep us in mind for your next safari adventure!

Finally, it’s time to exit the park and perhaps get one last glimpse of an elephant patrolling along or giraffe, nibbling at the treetops.

We’ll enjoy lunch on the way back to the coast, stopping at an open-air restaurant with immense views of the Tsavo East plains.
